Christmas with Shelley

As I've posted earlier... Shelley is here visiting for a bit before Christmas. Yesterday we had Blake's "friend" birthday party. I will blog about that by itself. When we got home from the party, we exchanged gifts with Shelley.

The name of this is "Kids on Parade". It is a yard stake.

I absolutely love these next items! They are so very cool and I can't wait to hang them on my fence in my new patio area!

The bodies are resin, the wings are metal and the antennae have little pearls on the ends of them! I love that the pink one looks like a type of Lily (for my darling Lilly).

I also got a journal that is called "A Mother's Legacy" and has questions about me and my life that I answer. Then when Blake is old enough to appreciate it, I will give it to him. When I opened it, I was excited and I said, "Oh cool! I can fill this out and then give it to you." and Blake said, "Oh great." It was pretty funny!

And she gave me Bath and Body Works mandarin mango shower gel, lotion and body spray. I love that scent...and was running out :)

But above and beyond the material things she gave me, Shelley's best gift to me is her friendship. She is an awesome friend and I don't know what I would do without her in my life.
