I was watching tv yesterday and heard a quote by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. I want to say it was on Jon and Kate plus 8.... but I can't be positive about that.
Anyway.... I like the quote. It is so true. It says in a few words, what I have been trying to say in over 3 years.
"There is no greater tragedy in life than the death of a child. Life never gets back to normal."
I like it. It drives home the meaning of a "new normal" that has become a trademark phrase in my life. The way it used to be, will never be again.
