Yahoo!!

Blake got his cast off today. He is THRILLED...and took an hour and a half long bath tonight :)

Strange thing getting a cast off.... the saw that only cuts the cast and not your skin... the nurse putting her finger on the blade of said saw while it was running!.... the contortions one has to get into to get the bottom of the cast cut... the pliers that they use to crack the cast open after it's been sawed... the sand INSIDE the cast from palm to elbow!.... the scaly feel of the skin...

But the fracture is 100% healed... to the point that the doc couldn't even find where the fracture had been! SA-WEET!

Blake has some range of motion exercises to do... has to be careful for a week or so...and other than that he's good to go.

It was really funny because after the doc showed us the exercises to do, Blake said, "So do I need physical therapy or what?"

The doc stopped in his tracks and looked at B and said, "Are YOU the doctor here?"

Blake thought for a moment and then said, "Uh, I guess not."

The doc just cracked up! Then he said, "Oh Blake, what am I going to do with you?"

It was quite humorous :)

My mom sent Blake a check to go out and celebrate getting his cast off. We went to McDonald's of course :)

It's not the most exciting blog in blogland... but hey.... it's something :)
