Yesterday afternoon Mike's mom called and said that his dad had fallen down and she needed Mike to come help get him up. Mike ran over there and they ended up calling an ambulance. Apparently Dad had passed out and that's why he fell. They took him to the hospital and did xrays and a cat scan... there was nothing broken and he hadn't had a stroke. They decided to admit him overnight for observation, and then around midnight he went into cardiac arrest!
This morning he was taken to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He is in the Cardiac intensive Care Unit (CCU) down there (about an hour from here).
He is sedated and has a breathing tube.
Mike and his mom are there. Mike's brother and his wife are there. His uncle, aunt and gramma are on their way. His sister is trying to find a way to get up here from Florida.
I wish I was with Mike. But I am home with Blake because having him at the hospital would just add stress to an already stressful situation.
Tammy has offered to come and stay with B...and depending on what tomorrow brings, I may take her up on that offer.

Sorry I haven't been around to chat lately. My brother is in town and I'm sick sick sick! boo! I'll blog about it later I'm sure!
