Gobble til ya wobble

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all :)

Blake and I got up this morning and baked a cake for grampa. The nursing staff may not like the fact that we are bringing him goodies... but it's Thanksgiving and he LOVES this cake :) It's all good.

Now I am just waiting for the cake to be done, so I can shower and get ready to head over to the rehab center where we'll be spending Thanksgiving this year :)

My sis and her girls might be coming for the weekend. Joy had said they were going to come tonight... but Hannah has to work tomorrow... so I don't know what the plan is now. Gret said she is definitely coming. We'll see.

A fellow blogger (Bring the rain... over there on my sidebar), who I read daily, posted a challenge for today. The challenge is to write down something we are thankful for that we don't feel thankful for. I hope it counts if I write it here. I challenge my readers to do the same. Write it on a slip of paper and tuck it in a favorite book, or throw it away or whatever. Or write it in a comment here.

Dear Lord, I am thankful that I don't have a job right now. It allows me to have time to spend with Blake, who is having difficulty dealing with Grampa being in the hospital. It gives me time to visit with my father in law, and it gives me time to cover my mother in law's classes so she doesn't have to stress about them.
