Another year gone

It is amazing to think back over the past year and all that has happened.

I quit my job of 10 years.
Blake joined the Pacers swim team.
Mike's dad was gravely ill and recovered quite well.
Mike started back to college.

Just to name a few.

It's hard to believe that 2008 marked 3 years since our baby Lilly died. And that in just a couple of months it will be 4 years since my Pop died!

My hopes for the new year are that I will find a job...full time with benefits. Blake will improve his behavior at school. Blake will continue to improve on his swimming skills (his progress is AMAZING). Mike will continue to do well in school, and will decide that he CAN handle at least a part time job while going to school.

Am I asking too much? Maybe I should just pray that my unemployment doesn't run out before June.

Oh, by the way... we decided to spend the day at an indoor water park (of sorts) near home. It's a pool with a water slide, mushroom fountain and sprayers. I'll post pics after I get the motivation to go get my camera out of the van ... LOL :)
