A peaceful place

Here are some pics of a river that is near our house... the Chippewa River to be exact :) Blake loves to go to the river and swim. Honey loves to go to the river and chase her ball. Dolly likes to go, just because she likes to go... but she thinks Honey is just NUTS for going IN the water :)

We do a lot of fun things on this river.. tubing... swimming... canoeing.... Once we saw a guy with a surfboard and he let Blake sit on the board and float a bit. It was pretty neat :)

Once we saw a turtle burying her eggs along the bank on the other side of the river.

Once we saw the ugliest bug I have ever seen in my life... and I looked it up online but now can't remember what it was (it was grosser than June bugs I tell ya!)
