Shelley's dad ended up having surgery today. It was a last minute thing with him calling them and asking when they would be at the hospital because the doc wanted to go in. Yikes!!
The doc gave him the choice, and he decided to go ahead with it. Unfortunately the surgery didn't fix the problem, and the doctor isn't any closer to knowing what the problem actually is :(
They did, however, find out that it is not cancer (whew!).
He will be in the hospital at least until Sunday. He hasn't been able to eat or drink since Monday!
Shelley and Ma are doing OK. They are a bit frazzled, but that is to be expected.
