The latest

Mike was home briefly this afternoon. He and his brother took his brother's wife to the airport and stopped here on their way back to the hospital. So I didn't even really get to spend any time with him :(

But.... the doctors are saying they want to give Pop another day for his lungs to get stronger and then they want to do dialysis on his kidneys. The congestive heart failure can cause kidney damage.

We are still unsure as to when the pacemaker will be put in, but they are hopeful that he will be home for Thanksgiving.
